The Caesareum
The Caesareum was a shrine begun by Queen Cleopatra. It was in honour of the Roman general Marcus Antonius and, as it was completed by Emporer Augustus, the temple was dedicated to him. It was supposed to be a stunning temple, full of precious paintings and statues.
